Teachers receive detailed pacing guides for each unit which were built to address Arkansas standards. Pacing guides are provided as Google docs so that copies can be made and edited as needed.
Content-appropriate presentations are embedded for each unit in the form of Google Slides which can be copied and edited. These slideshows include Do Now, Turn and Talk, Think-Pair-Share, I Gradual Release Practice, and Check Your Understanding activities and are coordinated with Cornell-style fill-in notes.
Practice activities are provided with keys for teachers.
A variety of laboratory investigations and other types of suggested activities engage students in inquiry, problem-based, student-centered learning opportunities. Every unit includes lab investigations from the National Math and Science Institute’s Laying the Foundation. Each of these activities have keys for teacher use that should not be publicly posted.
In the LTF Teacher Versions of the labs, teachers will find information about how each lab is linked to NGSS and to Math and Literacy Standards. These also include Teaching suggestions, sample data, and answers to questions with rationale.
Sketchnotes are included to reinforce main ideas when appropriate.
